INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
STAVROS – a combination of mountain and sea

Stavros is a small resort village in Aegean Macedonia near Asprovalta. It is located 88 km from Kavala and 70 km from Thessaloniki and is at the very beginning of the Chalkidiki peninsula, in the northeastern part. Administratively it belongs to the Thessaloniki region. Stavros is built on a hill overlooking the Strimoniko Bay. The village has many parks, restaurants, taverns, shops and cafes. The beach is 10 km long.
PARTICIPANTS
Participants in the folklore festival are amateur groups. Dance, singing and instrumental folklore ensembles, groups for processed and authentic folklore, puppetry groups can participate in the festival. There are no age restrictions. The folklore program of the group should be 10-12 minutes long.
THE PROGRAM of the festival offers:
-June 6, Saturday – festival concert on an open stage in the center of Stavros from 8:30 p.m.
- diplomas and plaques for the participating groups
- June 7 - opportunity to organize an evening party with a DJ
- a 24-hour team that will be on site with you
PARTICIPATION FEE
Package price per person:
Price for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner:
185 euros / per person – accommodation in a triple / quadruple room with breakfast and dinner
215 euros / per person – accommodation in a double room with breakfast and dinner
Price for 4 nights with breakfast and dinner:
230 euros / per person – accommodation in a triple / quadruple room with breakfast and dinner
270 euros / per person – accommodation in a double room with breakfast and dinner
Price for 3 nights with breakfast:
145 euros per person – accommodation in a triple / quadruple room with breakfast
175 euros per person – accommodation in a double room with breakfast
Price for 4 nights with breakfast:
165 euros per person – accommodation in a triple / quadruple room with breakfast
225 euros per person – accommodation in a double
The price does NOT include the mandatory city tax for hotels in Greece.
Price for city tax – 5 euros per room per night. Paid separately.
Accommodation in a single room – price upon request.
The price does not include transportation to Stavros, parking and personal expenses.
A group of 25 people has one free place in a double room (25 + 1).
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT DEADLINES
Candidates who wish to participate in the festival must declare their participation
by filling out the Registration Application Form by February 28, 2026.
Deadline for advance payment 30% of the total amount March 10, 2026
Deadline for additional payment of the entire amount April 30, 2026
Please observe the deadlines for registration and payment, as they are tied to the reservation of hotel rooms.
